Investment Associate

If you have completed the Canadian Securities Course and have experience in financial or investment services, this growing Manitoba company is looking for an Investment Associate. In this role, you will support investment advisors, while helping to maintain the company’s high standards of client service and records management. 

You will use your proven skills in organizing and maintaining confidential information to foster company growth. If you are a driven professional with excellent communication skills, this could be you next career opportunity.

* Serve as the main point of contact for clients to provide information and open documents
* Ensure accurate processing of client transactions (e.g. converting RRSPs to RRIFs, setting up RRIF payments, managing estates, updating beneficiaries, etc.)
* Support all investment advisors with a range of administrative functions (e.g. phone calls and emails, paperwork preparation and product research)
* Process trades and prepare client quotes and reporting
* Ensure all client documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with industry regulations
* Maintain current knowledge of industry and company policies and procedures
* Prioritize and organize multiple orders and requests for reporting
* Proactively and independently complete tasks

* Complete Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbooks Course (CPH) from IIROC and Investor Relations (IR) certification
* 3+ years of administrative experience in the financial services industry 
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Track record of maintaining confidential information
* Ability to be team oriented and adaptable
* Excellent customer service skills
* Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
* Track record of excellent attention to detail and working independently
* Strong CRM and KYC knowledge and understanding of compliance regulations
* Post-secondary education in business administration or accounting would be an asset
