Investment Associate

If you have completed the Canadian Securities Course, this growing Manitoba company is looking for an Investment Associate. In this role, you will support investment advisors, while helping to maintain the company’s high standards of client service and records management.

* Serve as the main point of contact for high-net-worth clients to provide information and open documents (KYC documents)
* Ensure accurate processing of client transactions (e.g. converting RRSPs to RRIFs, setting up RRIF payments, managing estates, updating beneficiaries, etc.)
* Support all investment advisors with a range of administrative functions 
* Process trades and prepare client quotes and reporting
* Ensure all client documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with industry regulations
* Maintain current knowledge of industry and company policies and procedures
* Prioritize and organize multiple orders and requests for reporting
* Proactively and independently complete tasks

* 3 to 5 years of administrative experience in the financial services industry – specifically working with high-net-worth clients
* Complete Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbooks Course (CPH) from IIROC and Investor Relations (IR) certification
* Track record of maintaining confidential information
* Ability to be team oriented and adaptable
* Excellent customer service skills
* Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
* Track record of excellent attention to detail and working independently
* Strong CRM and KYC knowledge and understanding of compliance regulations
* Post-secondary education in business administration or accounting would be an asset
